NEW RELEASE FEATURES
  • HDI Certificate Generator for HDI clients (CD-257) - A new function is available for HDI clients that enables travelers to generate an insurance certificate. The function is available and ready to use on the User Portal. User must be login to the platform for accessing the function.
  • Place Meta-Type Labels with Editor Function (CD-278) - To improve the function, a text editor function has been added on place meta type management. Text, pictures and links can be added with the function that are displayed to users on the User Portal.


OPTIMIZED FUNCTIONS
  • Enhance Add Trip Booking Self Service (CD-67) - The booking self-service function for travellers was updated to improve user experience. Selection criteria were applied for accessing active booking data. The GUI of the data entry form was changed and data fields were limited to must haves. In addition, the management of the front end page was added to the page editor so that system admin are enabled to apply instructions and custom specific style elements.

NEW RELEASE FEATURES
  • Coronavirus Page (CD-232) - A new page was added to inform travellers and risk managers about the latest development on the Corona Pandemie. The information provided on the page is based on the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). The data will be updated once a day. The page will be made available on client systems upon request.
  • Latest News on User Portal (CD-191) - A new feature is available to add latest news to the front page of the User Portal that appears before a country is selected. The feature is made available to give users easy access to the latest news and to make the portal look more alive.
  • Time Parameter (CD-188) - A time parameter is added to the booking trigger as well as to passenger trigger. The parameter enables admins to define the time before departure data, when the trigger becomes activated and sends notifications. When deploying to productive systems, the default value "empty" is applied to already active triggers. The function will be deployed to all client systems.


OPTIMIZED FUNCTIONS
  • Display of Company Sites on User Portal (CD-195) - The access to company specific locations has been enhanced to improve speed on the User Portal. The locations become available on the map after the country and the respective menu is selected. The improvement will be deployed to all client systems.
  • Country Risk Change Notification Rule (CD-36) - A new function was added for sending risk change messages to a predefined audience. The configuration of the function needs a risk change trigger, an email template with the content according to the need of a client and a notification rule. The fixed address is triggering messages for any risk change regardless of the trigger settings. The function will be made available on all client systems.
  • User Profile Management (CD-175) - To improve admin operations, a new function was added for profile maintenance. In the new function, admins who have the authorization can access the profile of a user more directly by entering search criteria that is improving speed for loading the data to be reviewed or edited. After a profile is selected, admin user can change the status of a profile, reassign a company, change the name of the user, assign an office location to a user or change the preferred language.The enhanced function will be deployed to all client systems.
  • Email Template Pre-Settings (CD-164) - To improve admin operations, a new function was added to templates to categorize the type of notifications and language settings of notifications that are triggered by the system without notification rules. The parameters to be added to each template include language and type of template beside the name of the template. Type of template and language are used to assure triggering of system functions. The improvement was made to avoid human errors in template configuration.
  • Improved Alert Labels (CD-210) - To improve user friendliness, the style of how content of Alerts are displayed will by changed on User Portal as well as on Management Portal. After the change, a screen wide window will appear that is containing the full content of the Alert / News after the tool tip is clicked on. With this change, the content of a message becomes better readable for user. The change will be deployed to all client systems.
  • Search criteria for generating any User Log Report (CD-211) - To improve user friendliness, search criteria have been added to any type of log reports so that user benefit from a more direct access to information that serve the use case for analyzing log data of a specific user / admin user. The change will be deployed to all client systems.
  • Display arrival and departure date on Locator Report by country (CD-226) - To provide more comprehensive information on the locator report by country, the previous logic that is assessing the active segment of a booking only for locating the traveler has been replaced with a logic that is calculating the arrival date and departure date by considering all segments of a booking. The change will be deployed to all client systems.

NEW RELEASE FEATURES
  • Subscription Self-Service (CD-68) - The subscription function for users is made available on the portal for self-service. User can configure the service as required based on language parameters, information service and distribution channels as defined as standard in the respective client system.
  • Emergency Call Report (CD-75) - The report has been developed to provide a log of calls in a transparent manner. The report will be rolled-out to all web solutions.
  • User Profile Self-Validation (CD-76) - The function enables users to complete or update profile data that are not system relevant. In addition, user can send requests that are forwarded to the system admin email address defined in company settings. The function can be accessed by users in the User Portal at the right top corner after login as User / Traveller. The feature will be rolled-out to all web applications.
  • User Profile Status (CD-102) - There are three status added to profile data to distinguish between active, inactive and deactivated user profiles. The status types can serve for service invoicing and to deactivate the service for a specific user if requested.
  • User Password Self-Service (CD-109) - The function that has been added to the Traveller Portal enables user to change the password that has been generated by the system during account registration. The feature will be rolled-out to all web applications.
  • Notification Service for Country Risk Changes (CD-36) - A new trigger is available to inform subscribers if a risk assessment of a destination has changed. The new feature is rolled-out only upon client request.
  • Information key "Length of Mission" (CD-127) - The key can be added to an email template to inform security officers regarding the arrival and departure date of a traveller in a destination. The feature is rolled-out only upon client request.
  • Consumption Monitoring (CD-103) - The new reports added to the system enables System and Reseller Admins to run reports in time sequences for invoicing purpose on: 1. number of active user profiles per company account; 2. number of PNR's imported into the system per company account; 3. number of transactions (TRX) processed per company account. The reports will be rolled-out to all client systems.
  • SpotApp - Read and Accept Button (CD-24) - A Confirmation Button has been added on the Country Report Screen of SPOTAP. By pressing the button, a confirmation signal is sent that is logged in the Confirmation Report.


OPTIMIZED FUNCTIONS
  • Mandatory fields in data entry forms (CD-97) - To avoid malfunctions, system relevant data fields in manual booking entry forms for hotel reservations, flight reservations and car reservations were made mandatory. The change is rolled-out to all web applications.
  • Placement of Hotels by Address (CD-62/63/64) - The placing of hotels on map has been enhanced by adding missing coordinates with data generated from address data. In addition, the hotels can be made accessible by users on the traveller portal and on the mobile app. The change will be made available on all systems.
  • Icon Improvements (CD-81) - New icons for marking of places on map were launched to improve visibility.
  • Enhanced Booking Trigger with Country Criteria (CD-111) - The country parameter has been added as additional trigger parameter to improve granularity of data selection. The change will be launched to all web applications.
  • Enhanced Incident Trigger with Urgency Level (CD-110) - The Urgency Level criteria has been added as additional trigger parameter to improve granularity of data selection. The change will be launched to all web applications.
  • One User Profile Standard (CD-107) - The function has been enhanced with use cases of travelers to avoid that admin user have two profiles on the system.
  • Direct access to passenger info in passenger locator (CD-155) - The navigation to passenger info has been reassigned to “Passenger Locator” to improve user friendliness. The change will be rolled-out to all web applications.
  • Access to Country Info in Admin Portal (CD-161) - The access to country info on admin portal has been enhanced by implementing a country pre-selection to improve user friendliness. With the change, the country report PDF will become accessible in the admin portal. The change will be rolled-out to all web applications.
  • Access to user profile and booking data (CD-163) - To improve user experience, selection criteria have been added to all passenger information menus to avoid loading of unnecessary data. The change will be rolled-out to all web applications.
  • Enhanced Password Re-set Function (CD-112) - On the login page, user can request a new password by entering the personal corporate email address. If a profile exists under the email address entered by the user, a link is sent that enables the user to choose a new password. The function will be updated on all client systems.
  • Enhance Traveller Profile Import Logic (CD-113) - The traveller profile logic was enhanced to block data from being imported if the domain of the email address is not belonging to a corporate customer. The setting for the email domain validation can be activated / deactivated in company settings. If the function is activated, any record that is containing an e-mail domain belong to the client is blocked.
  • Admin user Registration - Email segregation for login credentials (CD-88) - In the enhanced function, the login information and the password for login is sent in separate emails the the profile holder after an admin account has been created. In addition, a "role" key has been added to indicate Access Profile in the email sent so that a generic mail template can serve all admin registration notifications. The enhanced function will be rolled out to all client systems.
  • Passenger Profile Update Function (CD-175) - After moving the profile reports to Admin Reports and by applying a filter, the use case for updating a specific profile was not very user friendly. To improve admin experience, a new "User Profile Management" function has been added to the menu "System Settings" for adding / editing profiles.
  • Contact function added to Localization Report by Passanger (CD-169) - The e-mail and SMS contact function has been added to the Localization Report by Passenger.
  • Blook incomplete hotel bookings from being imported (CD-168) - The function has been enhanced with a data quality check that is blocking hotel bookings from being imported if data do not provide references required for locating the hotel.
  • Admin Portal - Access to detailed risk info (CD-167) - A new report has been added to the Admin Portal for accessing detailed risk ratings of a country. The report becomes available after the country is selected. The new report will be implemented in systems with country intelligence that provide a detailed risk rating per country.
  • E-mail address validation by entering a traveller manually (CD-165) - An e-mail address validation logic has been added to the admin function "Add Passenger" to avoid duplicated profiles with the very same email address assigned.
  • Messenger e-mail template pre-settings (CD-164) - An e-mail address validation logic has been added to the admin function for adding passenger manually to avoid duplicated profiles with the very same email address assigned.
  • Most website functionality doesn't work on IE11 (CD-148) - Some scripts were changed to be in compliance with Microsoft standard applied to IE11 to assure proper function of Google Map when working with browser version IE11.
  • Passenger locator -> Report by Reservation (CD-99) - A bug was detected and fixed that was causing duplication of passengers if more than one passenger is assigned to a PNR.


OBSOLETE FUNCTIONS
  • Removal of outdated mobile app data reports (CD-162) - The use cases of the two reports are supported by other report functions. Therefore, the GPS Application Log and the GPS Signal Log will be removed from the System Setting Menu. The change will be implemented in all web applications.
  • Plane crashes info and train menus removed (CD-166) - To optimize the system, function without clear use cases are removed. For that reason, plane crashes information and train ticket tracking function were removed.


2019 APR - JUN

NEW RELEASE FEATURES
  • Company Account user email domain settings (CD-91) - A new feature has been implemented in company settings for activating or deactivating the validation of booking records based on corporate email domains. The change will be implemented in all web applications.
  • Access to Company Sites on Traveller Portal (CD-56/57) - Company offices and preferred locations like hotels maintained by admins are made accessible for users on the Traveller Portal. The data are structured in types of sites and contain detailed information that can be downloaded. The new feature will be made available on all web applications.
  • Dynamic Country Info Content Management (CD-108) - A new feature has been implemented to add company specific content to the country report of one, a group of countries or to any country. The enhancement will be made available to all web applications.
  • Content translation API (CD-65) - The API serves the need to provide content of country reports and alert messages from source systems in other languages. The translation service can be activated upon request for six languages.
  • SPOTAP Release 1.22 / 1.23 (CD-74) - A cost warning function has been implemented that can be activated on a company level. In addition there were some bug fixes implemented on the Android app version.


OPTIMIZED FUNCTIONS
  • Active Booking Tracking Logic (CD-91) - The logic has been changed from the “Home Country Logic” to “Active Booking Logic” to reduce minimum requirements in data required for tracking. In addition, the new logic enables services to all employees independent from bookings. The change will be rolled-out to all web applications.
  • Enhanced Data Import Logic (CD-92/54) - Additional quality checks were implemented on the booking data import from GDS and XML data feed to assure correct and complete data for smooth operations. The logic will be activated for any data feed.
  • SPOTAP RELEASE 1.21 (CD-51) - The layout of the registration screens were changed, and some features implemented to gain more flexibility in customizing layout and contents on app.
  • Data access segregation by company divisions (CD-55) - The enhanced function enables clients to limit access of admins to travel data on a divisional level. The improvement will be rolled-out to all web applications.
  • Mandatory address in company account configuration (CD-66) - The email address for handling user requests has been made a mandatory field in the company account configuration to avoid malfunction of contact features. The improvement will be rolled-out to all web applications.
